El Nido is a municipality at the northern tip of Palawan, famous for its dramatic limestone karst cliffs, hidden lagoons, and some of the most beautiful island-hopping routes in Southeast Asia. The Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, and Secret Beach are among the highlights of the island tours that weave through the Bacuit Archipelago. El Nido is also the jumping-off point for the Palawan Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 80 kilometres south.
