Tuy Hoa is the capital of Phu Yen province on Vietnam's central coast, a small city known for its beautiful Da Dia Reef — a basalt rock formation resembling a giant honeycomb — and its long, relatively uncrowded beaches. The province is gaining recognition as an unspoilt alternative to the busier coastal destinations further north and south.
