Da Nang is central Vietnam's largest city, a modern and rapidly growing coastal city flanked by China Beach and the Marble Mountains to the south and the Son Tra Peninsula nature reserve to the north. The iconic Dragon Bridge breathes fire on weekend evenings, the Ba Na Hills theme park (accessible by the world's longest cable car) towers above the city, and the city is the main air and road gateway to both Hoi An and Hue.
