Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar is the gateway town of the Khumbu region and the de facto capital of the Sherpa people, perched in a natural amphitheatre at 3,440 metres on the Everest trekking route. The town is the last major resupply point before Everest Base Camp and serves as an acclimatisation stop for trekkers, with a weekend market where Tibetan traders sell goods alongside expedition gear shops and espresso cafés. The surrounding ridges offer breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
