Tumling Tar is a small airstrip town in the Sankhuwasabha District of eastern Nepal, used as an access point for treks into the Makalu-Barun National Park and the remote Arun Valley. The surrounding hills are inhabited by Rai communities and the landscape is characterised by terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and views towards the Makalu and Kangchenjunga ranges.
