Biratnagar

Nepal

Airport

Biratnagar is Nepal's second-largest city and the industrial capital of the eastern Terai, situated in Morang District close to the Indian border. While primarily an industrial and commercial centre, it serves as a gateway for exploring eastern Nepal, including the tea gardens of Ilam, Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, and the eastern Himalayan trekking regions. The city has a busy bazaar, a cosmopolitan population, and is connected by road to the hill stations of Dharan and Dhankuta.
