Labuan Bajo
Indonesia
Airport Tourism
Labuan Bajo is a small fishing town at the western tip of the island of Flores that has transformed into the main gateway for visits to Komodo National Park, the Pink Beach, and the spectacular Padar Island viewpoint. The harbour is lined with liveaboard dive boats and the waters surrounding the town contain some of the best diving in Asia, with manta ray cleaning stations, drift dives over volcanic seabed, and exceptional coral gardens just minutes from shore. The surrounding Flores countryside — volcanoes, traditional ikat-weaving villages, and the tri-coloured crater lakes of Kelimutu — makes it worth extending any visit.
