Tourism
Phang Nga Bay is one of Thailand's most dramatic natural spectacles, a marine national park where hundreds of limestone karst islands rise sheer from the emerald-green water. James Bond Island (Ko Tapu), made famous by 'The Man with the Golden Gun', is the bay's most iconic feature, while the sea cave kayaking routes through hongs (collapsed cave chambers) and the Muslim stilt village on Ko Panyi are equally memorable. The province also encompasses the Khao Lak coast, a quieter alternative to Phuket with excellent diving access to the Similan and Surin Islands.
