Gelang Patah is a township in western Johor near the Malaysian end of the Tuas Second Link (Malaysia–Singapore Second Link), the second land crossing between Malaysia and Singapore. The area is part of the rapidly developing Iskandar Malaysia economic zone and is home to the Johor Premium Outlets and a growing residential and commercial district.
