Khlong Yai is a border crossing town in Trat province near the Cambodian border, close to the gem-trading city of Chanthaburi. The crossing connects to the Cambodian town of Cham Yeam in Koh Kong province, providing access to the Cambodian south coast and Phnom Penh.
