Despite the monsoon name, this is the start of Singapore's drier season — rain falls mainly as isolated afternoon convective thunderstorms rather than sustained downpours. Mornings are typically sunny and clear. Temperatures are high (25–33°C). Outdoor dining, rooftop bars and the Marina Bay promenade are at their most enjoyable in the dry evenings.
