Subang is a satellite city west of Kuala Lumpur in Selangor state, home to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (the former main KL airport, now serving regional and general aviation traffic) and the modern townships of Subang Jaya and Shah Alam. The area is primarily a residential and commercial suburb of greater Kuala Lumpur with good transport links to the city centre.
