Buriram is a province in Isaan, northeastern Thailand, best known for the spectacular Phanom Rung Historical Park — a 12th-century Khmer temple complex perched on an extinct volcano and one of Thailand's finest examples of ancient Khmer architecture. The province also hosts the Chang International Circuit, a Formula One-standard racing track and home to international motorsport events.
