Citizens of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand may enter Vietnam visa-free for up to 30 days under the ASEAN mutual visa exemption framework. No advance application required — the exemption is granted on arrival at any international port of entry. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
