Citizens of these countries require a paid ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) of USD 50 to enter Sri Lanka. IMPORTANT: Since 7 November 2025, there is NO visa on arrival — the ETA must be applied for and approved BEFORE boarding your flight. Apply online at eta.gov.lk: the process takes 5–10 minutes and approval usually arrives within 24 hours. The ETA grants a 30-day stay with multiple entries, valid for 180 days from issue date, and is extendable at the Department of Immigration in Colombo for up to 60 additional days.
