Passport holders of the listed nationalities may enter Thailand without a visa for stays of up to 30 days. No stamp or pre-arrangement is required — the exemption is granted on arrival at any international port of entry. Entry via land border is permitted a maximum of twice per calendar year; entry by air has no such restriction. Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before departure. Ensure your passport has at least 6 months of remaining validity and that you can show a return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds (20,000 THB per person / 40,000 THB per family). Extensions of up to 30 additional days can be requested at any Immigration office inside Thailand.

The Thai e-Visa system allows applicants to apply online without visiting an embassy. Tourist visas (TR) are issued for 60 days single-entry. Multiple-entry tourist visas (METV) valid for 6 months with 60-day stays per entry are also available. Applications take 3–5 business days. Payment is by credit card. This is the recommended route for travellers planning stays beyond 30 days or requiring a METV. Nepalese and Sri Lankan passport holders use the eVisa as their standard entry route. Indian nationals may choose the eVisa as a convenient alternative to the Visa on Arrival.
