eVisa — Tourist 9(A) (30 days)
30 USD Online
30 days Single entry extendable +29 days

Chinese citizens requiring stays beyond 14 days, or arriving at non-major ports of entry, must obtain the 9(A) Tourist Visa before travel. The most convenient route is the online eVisa at evisa.immigration.gov.ph, which costs approximately USD 30 (processing fee) for a single entry, 30-day stay valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days. Once in the Philippines, the eVisa can be extended once at a Bureau of Immigration office for an additional 29 days (total up to 59 days) at a nominal fee. Alternatively, a tourist visa can be obtained from the Philippine Embassy in Beijing or consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Chengdu, which may allow multiple entries and longer initial stays depending on the visa category issued.
