Danang Seaport is one of Vietnam's most important commercial and cruise ports, located in the country's third-largest city on the central coast. For cruise passengers it offers direct access to Danang itself — with its famous Dragon Bridge, the Marble Mountains, and My Khe Beach — as well as easy day trips to Hoi An Ancient Town (30 minutes south) and Hue (90 minutes north). The port handles both container ships and cruise liners and is well-equipped with modern terminal facilities. Immigration is straightforward and the port area is safe. Danang has undergone dramatic transformation in the last decade into a modern, confident coastal city and is an excellent introduction to contemporary Vietnam.
